Loch Laggan

Loch Laggan is a long narrow loch to the southwest of Newtonmore; the Laggan Dam was built in 1926 to supply hydroelectric power to the aluminium works at Fort William. The area has been used by the BBC for the filming of the TV series Monarch of the Glen.
